This section provides important information regarding the ownership of the Wiringly platform and the use of third-party brand names and imagery.

Ownership of Wiringly​

The Wiringly name, brand, logo, and the software platform itself are the exclusive intellectual property of Wiringly. All rights are reserved. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of the software or its unique UI/UX elements is strictly prohibited.

Trademark Disclaimer​

The Component Library and design tools within Wiringly include references to various automotive and electronic manufacturers, such as LinkECU, Bosch, BMW, MaxxECU, and VAG.

  • Identification Purposes Only: These names, logos, and part numbers are used solely for identification, technical description, and to assist users in ensuring harness compatibility.
  • No Affiliation: Wiringly is an independent software tool. The use of these brand names does not imply any official affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement from the respective trademark owners.
  • Ownership: All third-party trademarks, service marks, trade names, and product names are the property of their respective owners.

Component Visuals and Imagery​

The platform allows users to upload "Component Visuals" to represent parts within the design interface.

  • Permission for Use: Any manufacturer images or logos displayed within the software must be used only with the explicit permission of the respective copyright or trademark rights owners.

  • User Responsibility: When you use the "Choose Image" feature to upload custom visuals, you represent and warrant that you have the legal right to use those images.

  • Copyright Compliance: Wiringly does not provide a pre-loaded library of copyrighted manufacturer photography. Users are encouraged to use their own original photography or royalty-free technical diagrams.

Accuracy and Liability​

While Wiringly provides tools to define terminal compatibility and pin configurations, much of the data is user-generated.

  • Verification Required: Users are responsible for verifying all technical specifications (pinouts, wire gauges, and terminal part numbers) against official manufacturer documentation before manufacturing a physical harness.
  • Liability: Wiringly is not liable for any damage, injury, or errors resulting from the use of incorrect component data or improper wiring configurations.
